বড় ঠাকুর শনিদেব - Shani Mantra

'শনি' নবগ্রহের একটি অন্যতম গ্রহ, শনি গ্রহকে গ্রহরাজ-ও বলা হয়ে থাকে। শনিদেব সনাতন ধর্ম মতে একজন দেবতা। শনি উগ্র দেবতা বলে কুখ্যাত। জ্যোতিষীদের মতে শনির কুদৃষ্টি অশুভ ফল নিয়ে আসে। সৌরজগতের শনি গ্রহ ও সপ্তাহের শনিবার দিনটি শনিদেবের নামে নামকরণ করা হয়। শনিদেব কে শনিশ্চর বা শনৈশ্চর নামেও ডাকা হয়। শনি সনাতন হিন্দু ধর্মের একজন দেবতা যিনি সূর্যদেব ও তাঁর পত্নী ছায়াদেবীর পুত্র, এজন্য তাঁকে ছায়াপুত্র-ও বলা হয়। শনিদেব, মৃত্যু ও ন্যায় বিচারের দেবতা যমদেব বা ধর্মরাজের জ্যেষ্ঠ ভ্রাতা।

জ্যোতিষশাস্ত্রে জন্মছকে এর অবস্থান বিশেষভাবে বিবেচনা করা হয়। শনি দ্বাদশে, জন্মরাশিতে ও দ্বিতীয়ে অবস্থানকালে সাড়ে সাত বছর মানুষকে প্রচণ্ড কষ্ট দেয়। শনিদেবকে নিয়ে বিভিন্ন পুরাণে বিভিন্ন ঘটনার উল্লেখ আছে।

স্কন্দ পুরাণ বলে শিপ্রা ও ক্ষাতা নদীর সংযোগস্থলে জন্মগ্রহণ করেই শনি ত্রিলোক আক্রমণ করেন। আতঙ্কিত ইন্দ্র ছুটলেন ব্রহ্মার কাছে। নিরুপায় ব্রহ্মা সূর্যের কাছে। এর আগেই শনি দ্বারা আক্রান্ত সূর্য ব্রহ্মাকেই শনিকে সংযত করার অনুরোধ করলেন। ব্রহ্মা গেলেন বিষ্ণুর কাছে। বিষ্ণু গেলেন শিবের কাছে। শিব শনিকে ডেকে অত্যাচার করতে বারণ করলেন। তখন শনি শিবকে তাঁর জন্য খাদ্য, পানীয় ও বাসস্থানের উপায় করতে বললেন। শিব শনিকে মেষ থেকে মীন রাশিচক্রে ভ্রমণ করার ব্যবস্থা করে দিলেন। নিয়ম মত জন্মরাশি, দ্বিতীয়, চতুর্থ, অষ্টম ও দ্বাদশে শনি সর্বদাই ক্রুদ্ধ হবেন। কিন্তু তৃতীয়, ষষ্ঠ বা একাদশ স্থানে এলে তিনি উদার। পঞ্চম বা নবম স্থানে এলে তিনি উদাসীন। এই শনির আরেক নাম শনৈশ্চর। সন্তুষ্ট হলে তিনি লোককে দেবেন রাজ্য, অসন্তুষ্ট হলে নেবেন লোকের প্রাণ। শনিদেব সম্পর্কে সাধারণ মানুষের ধারণা যতই ভয়ভীতিমিশ্রিত হোক না কেন, মৎস্য পুরাণ কিন্তু শনিদেবকে লোকহিতকর গ্রহের তালিকাতেই ফেলেছে।

ভারতের বিভিন্ন রাজ্যে বিশেষ করে পশ্চিমবঙ্গে এবং বাংলাদেশের হিন্দু অধ্যুষিত অঞ্চলে শনিদেবের ছোটবড় মন্দির দেখা যায় এবং সেখানে সপ্তাহান্তে শনিবার বড় ঠাকুরের সাপ্তাহিক পুজার্চনা হয়ে থাকে। এছাড়াও সারা ভারতে বেশকিছু বড় বড় শনি মন্দির ও তীর্থস্থান উল্লেখযোগ্য, যেমন তিরুনাল্লার শ্রী শনিশ্চর কোইল ,দেওনার-এর শনি দেবালয়ম, মহারাষ্ট্রের শনি-সিঙ্গাপুর মন্দির, তিতওয়ালার শনি মন্দির, মাদুরাই এর নিকটে কুচানুর-এর শনি মন্দির।

প্রতি শনিবার সন্ধ্যায় শনিদেবের পূজার্চনা করার বিধান আছে। সাধারনত শনিদেবের মন্দিরে অথবা গৃহের বাইরে খোলা জায়গায় শনিদেবের পূজা হয়। নীল বা কৃষ্ণগ বর্ণের ঘট, পুষ্প, বস্ত্র, লৌহ, মাষ কলাই , কালো তিল, দুগ্ধ, গঙ্গাজল, সরষের তেল প্রভৃতি বস্তু শনিদেবের ব্রতের জন্য আবশ্যিক। নির্জলা উপবাস বা একাহারে থেকে এই ব্রত পালন করতে হয়।

Saturn attacked Trilok as he was born at the junction of Shipra and Khata rivers as Skanda Purana. Terrified Indra fled to Brahma. Unless Brahma is close to the sun. Earlier, the Sun, which was attacked by Saturn, requested Brahma to address Saturn. Brahma went to Vishnu. Vishnu went to Shiva. Shiva called Saturn and refused to oppress him. Then Saturn asked Shiva to make food, drink and accommodation for him. Shiva arranged for Saturn to travel from Aries to Pisces. As a rule, Saturn will always be furious at birth, second, fourth, eighth and twelfth. But when he comes in third, sixth or eleventh, he is generous. He is indifferent when he comes in fifth or ninth. Another name for this Saturn is Saturn. If satisfied, he will give the kingdom to the people, and if dissatisfied he will take the life of the people. No matter how frightening the common people's perception of Saturn is, fisheries have put Shinde on the list of folklore planets.

There are small temples of Shanadeva in various parts of India, especially in West Bengal and Hindu-dominated areas of Bangladesh, and there are weekly weekly prayers of the elder Thakur on Saturday. There are also some large Saturn shrines and pilgrimages all over India, such as Sri Shanisher Koil of Tirunalla, Saturn Devalayam in Deonar, Saturn-Singapore Temple in Maharashtra, Saturn Temple in Titwala, Saturn Temple in Kuchanur near Madurai.

Every Saturday evening, there is a provision for worshiping on Saturday. Usually in the temple of Shinadeva or in the open outside the house, Shinadeva is worshiped. Objects such as blue or black hue, floral, textile, iron, mesh plating, black sesame, dairy, rhubarb, and mustard oil are essential for Saturn's vow. Nirjala fasting or hunger is required to observe this vow.
